Under general direction of the Red Willow Operations Foreman, this position is responsible for field operations in areas where the company has operated assets, ensuring that production is optimized under safe, environmentally correct, and efficient conditions in compliance with all regulations and consistent with Tribal priorities and concerns. Assists in collecting and maintaining accurate data related to operations, including production, and equipment information.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have five years varied and increasingly responsible work experiences as a Lease Operator and/or Maintenance Specialist. Must live in close proximity to RWPC field locations in order to respond to emergencies and call-outs within 60 minutes. Must have current certification in first aid, CPR, and H2S. Must be able to maintain certifications in EHS required safety courses. Must have basic understanding of common oil field chemicals and 8 hour HAZWOPER certification. Must be willing to take directions from others. Must be encouraging, patient, and be able to mentor and train less experienced operators. Must be willing to learn to operate different or new types of equipment and in different areas. Must attend job-related training sessions as requested. Must be willing to work in a team environment and to share responsibility and accountability. Must have a valid driver’s license for state of residency and be insurable through Red Willow Vehicle Insurance Policy. Must pass criminal history background check and a pre-employment drug test.
